Groups of OAIA photos are represented by orange, yellow or green circles indicating the number of images that are available. Zoom in by scrolling or clicking on these groups.
When you have zoomed in far enough, an individual image will appear on the map (). Hover over the image to see details about when the image was captured, and double-click to view the image. Imagery locations are approximate.
Coming soon: A way to download images and full image sets...
This is a very preliminary (beta) version version of the OAIA Imagery Browser. Our team is working toward developing this browser as a useful tool to browse, search, package, and download all of the imagery created by the Open Aerial Imagery Association.
All Aerial Imagery is © Open Aerial Imagery Association and is freely and openly available for use (and reuse!) under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence. The image () icon on the map are free images provided by Flaticon.
This browser was built using the Leaflet Javascript library with the MarkerCluster plugin, and makes use of Bootstrap, jQuery and GLightbox. The underlying map data is © OpenStreetMap and its contributors. Map data is served using Mapbox. It is hosted using Amazon AWS and some content is distributed by the UNPKG, raw.githack and jsDelivr CDNs. The source code to this browser is also open; simply "View Source".
